Charity Mentors Kent and Medway’s offers free mentoring for charity leaders, their chairs and senior board members across Kent and Medway.

The mentors are experienced leaders of charities, social enterprises and other community organisations. They all volunteer their time to provide mentoring sessions to help other charity CEOs, managers and/or trustees with strategic issues. They have been carefully selected to ensure that that they add value to you, the mentee, and ultimately to your organisation.

They work with anyone who has a leadership role within a charity, community group or not-for-profit social enterprise, including trustees, managers and directors.  The mentors can focus on a specific issue or on general strategic direction and will help a mentee to think through the issues and help them to come to their own solutions and conclusions.

Their vision is for there to be vibrant charities and not-for-profit social organisations throughout Kent and Medway, producing excellent outcomes led by confident leaders with clear strategic purpose. Their mission is to provide these leaders with free, high-quality mentoring and support for strategic thinking, so that they are empowered to improve the resilience, efficiency and social impact of their organisations.

Mentoring projects are:

  • Short-term typically lasting up to 6 months
